Meghan Rubenstein

Meghan Rubenstein is an art historian who specializes in Precolumbian Mesoamerica. Since 2010, her research has focused on architecture in the Puuc region of Yucatán, Mexico. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at Austin and Curator of Visual Resources at Colorado College.

Meghan’s blog posts chronicle her dissertation fieldwork at the ancient Maya site of Kabah. The entries span a period of three years, beginning with the initial nine-month research trip and ending with the present state of the project.
